Parmelee Park was originally named
"Lambertville Park" when purchased from the Civic Club in
1961. Combined with Parmelee Field, which was donated to Bedford
Township by Dr. Olin Parmelee's family in 1948, this park now yields
19.04 acres of land.
Located off Summerfield Road at the end of Dorr Street, Parmelee Park
features two shelter houses, tennis courts, a lighted ball diamond, a
basketball court, a nature trail, playground equipment and numerous
picnic tables and grills.
Parmelee Park is the perfect setting for outdoor gatherings and
recreation. |
