Wilburn called the Regular Meeting of the Bedford Township Board to order at 7:00 PM followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.

APPROVAL OF AGENDA – Motion by Steinman, seconded by Meyer to approve the agenda as published, motion carried.

CONSENT AGENDA – Motion by Steinman, seconded by Steiner to approve the consent agenda as published, motion carried on a roll call vote as follows: Aye: Meyer, O’Dell, Schockman, Steiner, Steinman, Wilburn.  Nays: None.  Absent: Francis.

PUBLIC COMMENTS – None.

REPORTS FROM STAFF

FINAL PRELIMINARY PLAT APPROVAL EXTENSION FOR OLD COUNTRY CREEK – Steinman explained that Mr. & Mrs. Bernath are requesting a one year extension of the Final Preliminary Plat as a result of the current housing situation.  Motion by Steinman, seconded Schockman to approve the one (1) year extension of the Final Preliminary Plat approval for Old Country Creek which consists of nine (9) lots and is located north of Erie Road off of Packard Road with all the same stipulations as stated in the original approval, motion carried on a roll call vote as follows:  Aye: Meyer, O'Dell, Schockman, Steiner, Steinman, Wilburn.  Nay: None.  Absent:  Francis.

NEW BUSINESS – APPROVAL OF BILLS - Motion by Meyer, seconded by Schockman to approve the following vouchers for payment:  General Fund-$134,645.32, Fire District-$173,849.15, Park Fund-$901.49, Transit System-$13,416.00, Building Inspection Fund-$78.98, Library Fund-$496,106.77, Water Fund-$199,152.50, Green Hills & Other Debt Fd-$166,800.00, Capital Improvements 2007-$29,824.65, Sewer Operation & Main. Fund-$364,580.73, Trust & Agency Fund-$2,675.00, motion carried on a roll call vote as follows:  Aye: Meyer, O’Dell, Schockman, Steiner, Steinman, Wilburn.  Nays: None.  Absent: Francis.

COMMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC

Lorrie Brule-435 Pickard, commented on all the high school students attending the meeting.

REPORT FROM TOWNSHIP BOARD MEMBERS

Meyer said per the 2007 Tax Collection report, 95% of the tax roll was collected this year.

Wilburn commented on the pot holes and the repairs being made.

ADJOURNMENT – Wilburn adjourned the meeting at 7:10 p.m.
