Township Board
The purpose of this Board is to establish policy for the township and
allocate resources necessary to carry out those policies. This Board is
elected at large by the general voting public. |
Beautification
Committee
The purpose of this Committee is to enhance and restore the beauty of
township public property. This Committee is appointed by the Township
Board. |
Board of
Review
The purpose of this Board is to listen to citizen's petitions about the
assessment of their property and make decisions regarding that assessment. |
Board
of Zoning Appeals
The purpose of this Board is to hear appeals to the township ordinances
and to determine if a variance should be granted. |
Downtown
Development Authority
The purpose of this Board is to enhance and promote the well being of the
Downtown Development District. |
Economic
Development Corporation
The purpose of this Board is to encourage industrial and commercial
development within the township. |
Library
Advisory Board
The purpose of this Board is to serve in an advisory capacity to the
Township Board regarding the township's branch library. |
Park
Commission
The purpose of this Commission is to acquire, maintain, manage and control
all township parks. This Board is elected at large by the general voting
public. |
Planning
Commission
The purpose of this Commission is to create and adopt a
Master Plan for
the township and drafts ordinances which help enforce
the Master Plan. The Planning Commission reviews
all zoning change requests, Planned Unit Development site plans and all site
plans for commercial and industrial developments.
